Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo visited Dubai this week to speak at a sports conference, with his model girlfriend Irina Shayk and three-year-old son in tow.

Youtube footage showed the striker, who has been nominated for the Ballon d’Or, FIFA’s award for the year’s best player, attempting to walk around Dubai Mall with Shayk – all the while being mobbed by fans attempting to get a glimpse of the famous player.

Photos posted on social media networks also showed the famous forward stopping for a photo opportunity while dune buggy riding in Dubai’s desert.

The striker, who is also the Portuguese national team captain, is in the UAE to speak at the two-day Dubai International Sports Conference which starts on Saturday.

Ronaldo will be joined at the conference by Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola, marking the second time the Real Madrid star has attended the event.

Cristiano Ronaldo is in Dubai currently with his family (Irina shayk and Cristiano Jr.) spending his holiday time there as he awaits for the International Globe Soccer Awards where he is going to get the player of the year (Fan Favorite) award. Ronaldo also going to address the opening session of the Award Ceremony.
